Soo Yeon Lee (b. 1995) is an undergraduate student who is studying Photography and Art Therapy in School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She inspires to become an art therapist because she believes that mental health should be diagnosed and treated not just through words and actions of people, but also through their creativity. Her portfolio on the other hand is focused on her photographs that are mainly based on fantastical still lives, and documents of objects or art piece she finds to be significant. She was a photographer for multi-cultural events that are curated by Korean Student Association in SAIC in 2014 and 2015. She was also a photo intern for High Concept Labs which is arts service organization  dedicated to supporting working artists and engaging the Chicago community with arts and culture. She is now currently working as a design intern for James Dyson Award 2017 in South Korea.
